Do think a midfielder should be the priority, but not averse to adding a goalscoring winger either.
Ideally yes, though think the midfielder we want probably won't be available until summer and can't see us buying a January stop gap.Do think a midfielder should be the priority, but not averse to adding a goalscoring winger either.
He was good in the last games but just didn’t score. He literally scored 3 goals before this game but they were cancelled as offside and also because evanilson is a greedy fucker who thinks he needs to toepoke an already goal.So I can see Semenyo almost being a backup to if Nunes gets injured, still having width on the right. He can play both sides. He is Homegrown. He probably would accept joining a title challenging side as a backup at his age and brings physicality.
All while Marmoush and RAN (genuine attacking options) leave for a month and will test our squad depth.
At 65m it does seem so sensible?
I guess the main worry is if everything he is doing is just hot form, besides the United game he was on a poor run of form, but the entire Bournemouth team has been poor, so how much of that is the team vs just him?
Off to the rags he goes on 350 grand a week
You heard anything Ric? Do you know if we're interested?Do think a midfielder should be the priority, but not averse to adding a goalscoring winger either.

He's a different sort of winger. Less about carrying and dribbling and creating and more about using his power and technique to just put it in the net.Underlying stats not that good.
Doku and Savinho show similar stats (but Doku obviously better), showing that they are similar stylistically - probably due to what we ask of them and how teams set up against us.
Semenyo is nothing like them.
His stats would obviously change playing for us, but it's hard to predict how. Would he end up looking like Doku/Sav but with finishing? Or would he possibly not get the space and chances he does for Bournemouth. Can he cope playing with a lack of space?
I like him as a player and I'm not against getting him, but it's very far from a sure thing that he improves us.

I know he is 25 that's why I wrote that.He was good in the last games but just didn’t score. He literally scored 3 goals before this game but they were cancelled as offside and also because evanilson is a greedy fucker who thinks he needs to toepoke an already goal.
Semenyo is 25 by the way. „ At his age“ he is not 30+
Also consider Haalands position so really 8 for 4, or 6 for 4 spots.Just counting, currently we have Phil, Doku, Cheeki, Marmoush, Savio, Bobb, Tijanni. So that's 7 for 3 positions. 5 for 3 now that Marmoush is off to ANC and Doku has a niggle.
At CM we have Nico, Rodri, Berny and Kova. 4 for 2 positions. With Rodri and Kova currently injured. So 2 for 2 positions.
Hence Anderson/Wharton over Semento/Ndiaye for January.
He's a different sort of winger. Less about carrying and dribbling and creating and more about using his power and technique to just put it in the net.
I'm trying not toThis. He is more of a wide forward really than a true winger. Think Sadio Mane.

Played well last night but can't help thinking he can't be that good if Ghana haven't even picked him in their AFCON squad.
