Antoine Semenyo

He is only playing on the left this season. That’s my point. Also most of his goals were scored from the left . If he was still playing both sides this season it would be a different case. Same when playing for Ghana. He is not playing on the right anymore but only the left
This isn't true he has played on the right as much as the left this season.

Doesn't feel like a City signing. I like him, he's a good player, but for Bournemouth. He's a winger that thrives on open spaces to run into on the transition. I'm not sure he has the touch or close control to be effective against a low block. Mind you he has to be an upgrade on Savio.

Bobb and Savinho both have good touch and close control but it gets us nowhere against low blocks. The time has come to move on from Pep's usual methods. We've already seen it this season. We have the players to sit compact and then hit on the break and it's baffling we don't do it more. Hopefully these potential deals are a sign of what's to come under Viana and our currently outdated methods of "pausa" and "control" are gradually left behind.

The team and game is evolving and we could do with more strength and power.

It’s not like Doku is known for his touch and close control either.

is he really that good or is he just another player having a bit of a decent season when previously he has been pretty average?

he did noting against us and we are not great at the moment.
