Hmm I have actually never rated him very highly. I think he is quite error prone and often comes across as being quite clumsy - bambi on ice. Besides that he had a serious knee injury last year (or was it the year before that). He seems to one of those players who are loved by the German national coach Löw, for no apparent reason. Mustafi springs to mind as another. In reality these players are nothing special.
