All true though not nice to hear.

Still with Zabs at right back, Toure + say upson in the centre, Given and Bridge, Richards, Nedum and Kompany as cover thats a decent looking defensive line up. As good as Arsenal have available certainly much better than Villa or Everton.

Shame they have not got a preseason together to gel that will be the issue going into the season.

this guy is exactly what we need, a natural born leader ant an unknown club an can pry him away for about £12 million. he's 27 so he's got about 7/8 years left in him, and he is known for his tacleing tecnique.

I think hes quite underrated, 6ft 2 and only 23. Could do well and could be rather cheap

He would get my vote, would be the ideal partner for Toure, not a big name but already played really well in a poor team and knows the premiership.
