Any Anime/Manga fans here?

Has anyone here seen Requiem of the Phantom? It is quite a good anime, the build up in the story never seems to become stale.

Watched one called Parasyte lately, it's a decent anime and pretty brutal but there's no English dubbed yet as it's only not long came out in Japan (about March time) I do prefer English subbed though because sometimes the English voice acting can be a bit shit and don't capture the true emotions however Naruto English voice acting is pretty good, unfortunately KissAnime is down at the moment so I've been using substitutes on Kodi till KA is back up and running.
 
i watch Naruto from its first episode until now but this current storyline of the great ninja war is very taxing. I am very impressed with the plot of how the ninja world came to be though which is borderline genesis theory.

Naruto is the only one that I have time for but I believ I am too old to watch such things.

Never too old mate, I'm 27 and love anime, some people are put off the concept of it being cartoon based shows made for kids but don't realise 90% of it is made for adults or older teens (bit like us having Family guy and South Park) some have very meaningful stories to them, a lot of the older Japanese generation frown on Anime but a lot of it is tarnished with the same brush that being it consists mainly of girls with massive knockers!

Naruto is a great anime and there's been a few emotional scenes in that, not sure if you're watching dubbed or subbed version but I cheated and watched the 2 episodes after the latest dubbed episode in subbed as I'm growing inpatient waiting every Sunday to watch the latest dubbed episode!

I'm going to Tokyo in March and got told about the Akihabara district from a woman (as her dad is into Anime) who went to Tokyo in May and she said it had it's good points but also it's very bad as well as they have that animated porn they all love over there just on display in windows and stuff, so as long as you avoid that spectrum some anime can be good to watch it's just annoying when I talk to my mates who don't have a clue and they ask me if that's porn!
 
Studio ghibli aside I prefer the darker more violent ones. Can't really stand too much wide eyed cutesy stuff. hellsing (series and ultimate) is a great series, darker than black, vampire hunter d bloodlust is an awesome film as is spriggan and ninja scroll (good series too)



gets good around 1.30
