Any Blues Recall This Fixture From 1973-74

It was a game played at Maine Road in which Colin Bell was attempting to go past two players in front of the home dug-out when one of them virtually tore the shirt from Colin's back which had to be replaced.

Unfortunately that's all have but would love to find at the game details having recently secured the shirt into my collection which was simply repaired by the magically City laundry ladies.

She was obviously very good at her job

yes she was a sewing machinist she used to sew the numbers on the shirts and alter the players cloths for them as well as doing the laundry

She may well have been the one who repaired this Kinkladze shirt during 95/96 which you can see the repair between the V-neck and sponsor. He scored that goal against Southampton in this one.
