Any football coaching software?

I just use a whiteboard with a pitch printed onto it and a marker, its much easiar to explain, change and show the kids the process!

I agree mate!

But my reason for asking was to make a resource to share with the other coaches of our team - not with the kids - in case i cant make training one week and they need some ideas

I find the whiteboard is only useful for the older kids (U15 & older). Kids at the younger ages tend to take a lot of time to process individual thoughts, so adult coaches tend to talk to quick and draw to fast on whiteboards for kids to understand.

A more effective way that I find is to use some cones or balls to represent the Xs and Os, and have the players make decisions about how a team should react to a situation. It makes it more engaging and they'll learn to develop the thinking part of their soccer game.

I use a program called tact foot pro..

check it out

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.tactfoot.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.tactfoot.com</a>

I think this is a bit advanced for my needs at the moment, but when the players get a bit older i'll definitely giveit a go - thanks for suggestion.
