My advice is don't leave it until the summer by then it will be too late.As per title, got 2 new Hormann doors in their own steel frames, am wondering if I may still have to do the spring tensioning, or will they be done and ready to go? Couple other questions but will see if there's any response other than brick it and burn it.

Cheers, I'm replacing the wooden frames anyway, so it should be a nice snug fit, here's hoping.i fitted some but it was a while back,they were from B&Q and i had to pack the wooden frame to make it smaller,dont remember adjusting the spring im sure it came all ready
There are but it's just a series of diagrams and not the best. Surprisingly youtube isn't awash with every man and his dog showing you the process, first time I've experienced that with jobs I've tackled.Surely there are instructions in pack or youtube video stating this, take care either way, those springs are powerful.
