Game of Thrones is the best thing i've watched on TV since Band of Brothers,
Soon as season 2 ended i went straight back to watching them through again.

Homeland was very good, Game Of thrones is outstanding though

yes yes, this is a good series

also, look for one called "over there", its very similar to the film jarrhead and only ran for one season, but it was a good series

Don't know if this was ever shown in the UK, but Corleone (originally Il capo dei capi) is a great mini-series telling the story of mafia man Toto Riina. It's in Italian with subtitles, but the first time I watched it, I didn't stop until I'd watched all 6 episodes.

Watched 2 episodes of breaking bad but seemed a bit slow, do I need to give it more time?

After 2 episodes!!? Lol. It is the best show ever imo. Ive started re watching the whole lot for the 4th time round. Season 1 builds slowly and then kicks into gear in about ep7 when Tuco Salamanca comes in to it. Absolute psycho.

Just finished the first series of Treme and it really is good. Cant wait for the next series to arrive, Lovefilm.

The music has really grabbed me and I've been checking various things on Youtube. Like a geek, I've been looking into the tranditions of New Orleans and it's an interesting place with the mix of people they have there.

If you havent already seen it, give it a go. You might need to watch the first three episodes but it really is quality.

I prefer TV series to films these days and usually play catch up and watch them season at a time......so far I have watched The Sopranos, The Wire, Dexter, Homeland, Breaking Bad.....all very good and The Wire my personal fav.....Anyone have any recommendations for something I missed and not seen? Cheers.

Enjoyed The Killing (USA), seasons 1 & 2. Season 3 in the pipeline. Not as good as The Wire, but then again nothing is. Still pretty good though
