Not seen the lad in action, but was just wondering if Ian Lawlor is good enough to understudy, (and compete with), Joe Hart, next season.

If not, any suggestions as to who we could bring in?

Joe needs someone to push him hard, next season, and Judging by his recent performances, against Chelsea, in the states, Richard Wright certainly isn't up to the job.

You say we need someone to push Joe next season and suggest a 19 year old!

As for your question how about Craig Gordon, he doesn't have a club right now but then again he is probably looking to go somewhere and be number one.

A defender from Liverpool's early 70's sides ??????

Have you gone STIRR CRAZY ?

Always a difficult position to fill. We want someone good enough to ably deputise for Hart, but not so good that they could easily get first team football at another Premiership club, otherwise they'll get disillusioned pretty quickly. A conundrum.

Has he left? Heard he was on about it but is anyone interested? Was wondering why he didnt play in the US? We have still have Wright!lol Lee Camp is on a free, would be a decent backup but would still worry if Hart was out of any lenght of time. Its a hard position to fill and no one has less chance of game time then a backup keeper.
