I'm on a scooter rally in Llandudno at the weekend so will be on the lash Saturday afternoon and was wondering if any locals know of a boozer that shows 3pm kick offs so I can watch the game? Never been to the place before other than passing through on a train so don't know my way around at all.

Good luck with the rally and good luck finding a pub. Llandudno is great for grannies and fish and chips so you can't go wrong. Take the tram up to the great orme and then get pissed in the cafe at the top (by taking your own beers in a bag) and then walk back down to test your legs. When back down, stroll along the pier and play on the arcades before buying a stoke city key ring as a gift for your next door neighbour. And by night, enjoy the boardwalk nightclub, a fun place for all.

In a nutshell, Llandudno is great :-)

Only been there a few times but Llandudno is a weird place.

Along the seafront its all imposing beautiful buildings. Right behind them are some right grimy places. I'd suggest the latter is your best bet mate.

Last time I was there I had to give some relatives a lift to and from a posh function. So in the meantime I headed just a couple of streets in from the seafront and found a decent boozer that had a selection of games on. Dont know the street name but it had an Off License just across the road and was next to an alley. Not much help hey? haha

Seriously, I dont reckon you'll have trouble finding a place.

hello baker boy, llandudno based blue here. so it looks like you are here for the extravaganza then, good luck with that. i always work friday nights so am never even alive come 3pm on a sat let alone in the pub but there are a couple of pubs in town i know of with european or saudi based satelite dishes so they are your best bet but no guarantees as this is a scouse and rag town.
you have the neville which is directly opposite the train station and just off the town centre really and you have the kings head which is on mostyn street (main town centre road) near the start of town.

hope that helps have a good one matey

Wouldn`t be right going into a pub called neville so must be the kings head.

I went with a load of blues on a couple of coaches on a stag night there some years back ...... and we were in a back street pub called the malt loaf , or malt shovel (near the Horn) , or it was called something like that , when it kicked off with a large number of Leeds fans who'd walked in ..... as trouble flared loads of lads came running to help us , and the Leeds fans that survived did a runner ...... it turned out from talking to the lads later that they were local City fans ..... one of them was in the pub when it kicked off and had rung his mates!

Alls well that ends well!

We all landed up in a club on Mostyn Broadway after that.

Cheers goatboy. I'm not actually there for the Victorian Extravaganza thing, that just happens to be on at the same time, I'm on a scooter do (Vespa/Lambretta) with fat 40yr old mods/skinheads and the like...

Will give the Kings Head a go and the Neville (spits) as a last resort. I'll let you know how I get on.

i just re read this and realized i made a mistake, it's probably too late now but i meant the kings arms, the kings head is top of town with no footy, sorry always get those two mixed up, hope it's on somewhere for ya
