Any news on Rodwell? Updated with news from press conference

Pulled out of line-up against Villa when set to play. Injured, ill? Anyone heard?

Could be an important player with 2 games in a short space of time

Update: Nasri fit. Richards in training. Rodwell and Maicon not available (though Mancini was a lttle unclear on Maicon). Video on <a class="postlink" href="http://www.mcfc.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">www.mcfc.co.uk</a>.

mancini thinks we will win the title. Funny man. When we're doing well we wont, and when we are playing poorly we will.

Why is it that some of the biggest, strappiest lads seem to cop for the softest knocks. He must have pulled summat in the warm up. Did he actually warm up? I was engrossed in the proggy and didn't pay too much attention to the goings on in the warm up1

sure I saw him warming up on Tues ( Lescott was warming up with the other subs) - Rodwell was even announced in the starting line up about 20 mins before ko

According to cheeseman on twitter,rodwell maicon and richards will not be playing tomoz,but nasri is fit and could be !

Yeah was having a pint on the concourse Rodwell starting Lescott on the bench. Went up to my seat 5 mins before kick off and Lescott comes out

Everton fans apparently also got frustrated with the amount of times Rodwell 'wasn't fit' to play ....

if he starts that game here , he'll do so at his own peril .....

Looks like he only made around 17 appearances for Everton last season , in all competitions !

I've been impressed with him so far but we shouldn't be surprised as he came with a "sick note" reputation. Should have kept NDJ imo and signed either Rodwell or Garcia but i'm sure it will all come good in the end.
