Any Rail Workers On Here?

On Friday I plan to be taking a train from Manchester Piccadilly to Glasgow Central to visit someone special.
AND SALFORDTRUEBLUE NEEDS TO GET TO GLASGOW ON TUESDAY!

As you can imagine, because of the weather here and between Glasgow I have been stressing out and hoping the snow melts quickly, or is moved from the train line.
On the "National Rail" website it says there is disruption between Manchester and Glasgow due to icy conditions which isn't good reading!

Can anyone tell me where the weather is causing the problems so I dont have to check:

Manchester
Bolton
Preston
Lancaster
Carlisle
Glasgow, every hour or so to see if the weather forecast, or status of the crail jouney's has changed.

Any help would be very much appreciated.
