Any Scirocco owners here?

Does anyone here drive a Scirocco?

Looking at the 170 DSG GT at the moment, but wondered if anyone had one here and if they'd recommend it. Reviews online seem positive overall, but always good to get personal opinion.

My advice don't buy a DSG unless you have an extended warranty... my lad's Ibiza DSG has FSH and was just out of warranty (all other countries except the UK have extended warranties for DSG because of issues) and the gearbox failed.. after a painful piece of dialogue with Seat they offered a measly 30% toward a £5000 repair ( new gearbox as Seat UK dealers cannot diagnose DSG faults) so we ended up taking it to an independent and it cost is £3000... the car was only £4500
