Any suggestions for places to stay for Spurs away in the cup?

It’s a fairly long winded sign up to that mate, including proof of service, it’s about £40 for veterans.. Serving members can use the facility for free at any time .. !

Must have changed pal, it was about 12 years ago when I joined. Photo of my red service book with service details, and an app form. Used to use it regularly when I had work in London.

Indeed mate, I’m ex forces and had many a great night there in the 80’s, never thought about joining before until you mentioned it, I’m going to dig out my red book and join first thing tomorrow… Tried this afternoon but as you say, no red book to hand and need a utility bill to get mrs death on the books too..

Booked premier inn at Enfield for £50, not far from Enfield lock station which is on greater anglia line to Northumberland park station ( a quieter station than WHL station) it’s about a 10 minute walk to away end, might be something to consider for those looking to stay over
I’m booked in there as well.

I usually use the Ibis in Whitechapel as I stay there frequently when working in Spitalfields.

It is not a problem for me as my son lives in Sydenham so I can get to the match via the Overground. I did have to get him a ticket though!

93 Feet East in Brick Lane was a regular haunt of mine. Preem for food too.
