Any thing planned for the Bayern game ?

By tourists do you mean the supporters who have been evicted form the best seats in the ground? Quite a few either cant or wont stand for the entire game?

No i mean singers, who support the team throughout the 90 minutes rather than moan :) and stay silent[/quote]

The atmosphere at this game will depend a lot on the result at Napoli, we win that and the place will be bouncing, a draw and it will be nervous but noisy before the game and then it will depend on what is happening on the pitch.
I hope to be in Shambles from about 13:00 - 13:30, get a bite to eat & then lubricate my vocal chords, but if we need a result to go through, I will be kicking every ball from my seat (wherever that may be), and i will be very quiet for periods of the game unless we score a couple early & then it will be party time, the tighter it gets the more nervous I will become and this does not make for a great atmosphere.
Eastlands - Coms - Etihad can create as good if not better an atmosphere as Maine Road could once it was made all seater, & this game has the hallmarks of being one of the great atmospheres of the last 20+ years, all depends on the Napoli game and the way the game pans out.

That's why the EL3 experiment will most likely be inconclusive with regards to the atmosphere on this occasion.

Our result against Napoli will dictate the atmosphere against Bayern one way or another. I hope I'm wrong, but I have a feeling that in true City fashion we'll draw in Naples and thus need to beat Bayern to be certain of going through. We could all be in for a very nervy evening.

I'm gutted I'll miss this game, will be in San Antonio and very doubtful I'll even be able to watch it on the box. I've got a ticket too through the cup scheme, bad, bad fixture planning by UEFA...................

I'm in the same position but the shit planning this time is by me...... the Mrs wanted to be away for her birthday, Egypt, but I didn't check the fixtures apart from the PL games. Dumb fuck. Hope we win in Naples and sort out the qualification beforehand.

Exactly the same position for me mate, UEFA reference was a bit tongue in cheek. With us being in Texas I'm not hopeful of finding somewhere that will be showing the game. Champions League will not be high on their priority list I wouldn't think. Luckily I'll get to see the Chelsea game when I move up to New York for that one and can watch it in the Mad Hatter.

Good luck in finding the game bud, no problems my end on that account I'll just bribe the bar man at the hotel. Sounds like some tour, have a great time.

Yeah it is a bit of a big trip, it's the wife's 40th and that's where she wanted to go, I on the other hand when asked, opted for a fortnight in Cyprus !!! Big difference there !

We managed to organise the Poznań at Leicester on 23rd/24th minute. It only took one post on Bluemoon a few weeks before and it was everywhere within days. Nothing was needed for that (as in flares or smoke bombs). Maybe we can just start going mental in the tenth minute [randomly]. You know how Lech Poznań finished their 'Poznań' by jumping into each other and bouncing about like loons? Just do that. Looks like a big riot but it's just a mosh pit really.
