Get a grip we can still finish in same position as last season with a better squad than last season. Only problem we only really had Jan to lash the money since which we have looked a lot stronger. There is no guarantee that a replacement will do better.

This is a very narrow view. The league is much more competitive this season, which is indicated by how close the table is, and we were hardly playing shite football in the last two months. Plus we have progressed deep into the UEFA cup, and have played many more games this year.

We are statistically much better in 2009 than 2008. We pick up 0.5 points a game more. That's what, 10 points better off over 19 games.

If you don't recall we were third bottom at one point in December. So to suggest we were better earlier in the season is horse shit.
