Anybody worried about our rivals?

Yes very, worryingly.

Arsenal look sharp. Rags do. Even Tot. Liverpool might sign Reus yet.

Ive watched all our friendlies and have to admit that we are a few weeks off yet with it starting in 2....

1/10. not good enough.
my office 9am.

I will be very dissapointed if we dont do a double again, still a couple of years away from getting close to winning the champions league imo.

Sit back and relax. Take it all in as all the top teams have up'd their squads. Looking like another interesting season ahead.

Not worried in the slightest.

We were the best team / squad last season and we now have a stronger team / squad.

Mangala and Fernando make us better defensively.

Caballero and Sagna gives us great depth in important positions.

Jovetic is basically a 'new' signing and if he stays fit he'll be a 20+ goals a season man.

Lampard (if he comes) adds further quality and most importantly vast experience.

It looks like we have everything covered and a very impressive mixture of tools to get whichever job is in front of us done.

I think we'll win the title and beat the 95 points record. I also think we'll get to at least the quarters in the CL and have a very good chance of winning the thing.

If I compare our squad / team now to the one we had when we first won the league, the current one is far better.
This. 100%.

If we get off to a good start then we will be right up there again.

Chelsea will be a threat as will Arsenal and the rags.

Can't see Liverpool being a major threat with Suarez and too many signings made to gel quickly.

Rags will benefit from no European football and a piss easy start. Momentum will carry them through the season.

The signings we have made are ok, not spectacular but ok and our success will depend on keeping Kompany, Silva and Aguero fit.
I agree we could do with a a good start, especially away from home, went nearly 3 months before our first away win last season. Our home form over the last 4 seasons has been immense, so keep that going win a couple more away wins than last year and hopefully we can win the title before the last weekend of the season. Just get a good cb signing and I think we will be fine.
