Sorted out the baby sitter, cash on hip, tickets in pocket.

Rocked up to the Apollo last night to watch Frankie Boyle and the place was in darkness.

Checked the tickets, doors to open at 7, and this was close to 8 after a couple of beers in the Church on Ardwick Green.

Double check the ticket, October 27 2010!!

Wifey was not impressed.

Ha ha.

I flew to Bangkok last year a full month before I was booked in for. Hotel receptionist thought I was a right head the ball trying to check in on June 25 with a reservation for July 25-30!!!

Wouldn't mind but I bought the tickets in bloody July I think. Never even looked at them until I got the place. Who sells tickets to a comedy gig 15 months in advance?

Does seem a tad extreme.

Ah well, at least we could enjoy a couple or 5 drinks without rushing home to sort the kids out. Trouble is now I've got to keep the tickets safe until this time next year. I can see a phone call to Ticketmaster around next September asking when my tickets are arriving ;-)
