Anyone else found their seat became a step overnight?

It means they plan to kick him out of his longterm seat and relocate him, taking the seat out permanantly, i thought that was easy to follow in the thread? Or have i just fell for a clarkie?!
 
Personally, I think the bigger hint they wanted you to move would be the big urine stain all over the ground. Unless, of course, you did that?
 
Look on the bright side

When you stand on that and break you ankle you will easily win your Compensation claim and the extra cash can fund your move to a more expensive area of the ground
 
Big J. Customer Services simply took my mobile number and said they'll look into it. No time scale was given. They said that it wasn't Man City who'd made the decision to put the concrete there but the Project Team in charge of the Stadium Changes. I could only point out the obvious, why now? trip hazard.

Its a gash seat anyway! Row J and you get soaked so heres hoping I can get something better in the relocation window.
Any other service, energy supplier, phone, bank etc I'd switch but its MCFC and in my blood so thats that!
 
Row U in 119 has an extra step which goes down half the block.
Always been there no idea why. Makes it a ball ache to get past people. So maybe there aren't moving you maybe they just like having extra steps for fuck all reason.
 
There is a slight chance they may remove my seat and shuffle everyone along one by peeling off the seat stickers. Then make the concourse exit 105a smaller. Has that always been there? I swear I spotted it for the first time this weekend?

Anyone in Block 105 know what's going on?

My mistake, I thought they'd just moved the seats along rather than putting new steps in.
 
Well booga me, a reply from MCFC!

I should have more faith, Customer Services rang me back and explained that for us with a new concrete step extension under out seat, we are NOT being relocated at the end of the season. The club has expanded the quantity of people the stadium can hold as a music venue so as such they need to widen the stairwells. So the left hand isle seats in Level one that now adorn a lump of concrete under them are removed for that event and put back afterwards. Clever I guess. I did want someone to confirm that as we are all shuffling out on match day that it wasn't a trip hazard but by then I was just happy I wasn't heading into the relocation lottery. Here's their blander confirmation response to puts it all to bed.

I have liaised with a senior colleague and he has confirmed a full risk assessment took place prior to any stadium construction commencing. In addition when the stadium holds concerts in the future a full risk assessment will be required and will need to be signed off before is given permission to go ahead.

Had the same conversation this morning with Lisa Eaton she got back to me straight away and explained it was because when they have concerts the extra 25,00 people on the pitch need more space to get in and out via the isles

I joked it would be a subject on blue moon sooner or later and it is being on the end of the row I have my own seat now might take it home after the games to keep it safe CB might have padded seats real MCFC fans have a step under theirs
