Anyone else have bladder issues when Dunnie stepped up?

No, but my sphincter was twitching like Arry Redknapps eyes. Fair play to him, he's the Captain and like Terry in Chumps League Final, if he s not going to step up, who will? He's got the bollocks to do it.

Agreed, and didn't he take it well?!!

I nearly collapsed!!!

But he took it with such aplomb that I nearly fainted.

It was a cracker in the end wasn't it! I was expecting it to go out of the ground. He had a solid game all round to be fair to the guy.

couldn't watch dunnie's penalty...made my mum watch it and she just calmly went "oh................he's scored", thought he'd f**king missed with her delayed reaction!

He was an odd selection to take a penalty as he's only ever really been used to planting the ball in his own net ....... but it's nice to see he can actually put it in the right goal for once!

He took it really well!

i for 1 am so fucking glad caicedo didnt take 1 i would have been happy if garry cook himself stepped up

Can't really understand why Dunne was chosen though, probably because he said he fancied a go, and in these situations that's who you should go for I suppose, but it wasn't really a good penalty, but powerful and it went anyway (so I guess that makes it a good penalty). Elano's was perfect as usual.

Sir Richard of Dunne stepped up and did what a captain should do. He took responsibility.
If you were nervous then think how Dunney must've felt. Missing it would have seen him pillored from here to Sydney by press and (so called) fans.
He topped of a solid defensive display with an unstoppable penalty. Fantastic.
