Been killing time since i got up this morning. I'm waiting for a mate to finish work at 4pm but think i'm gonna step out now and sink a few to warm up.

Right up until this year, gone from 2nd to 3rd year in Uni and it is fucking murder. If you want to do well, be prepared to have no spare time at all. I've probably been a bit lazy and now it's borderline whether i'll get into next year or not. By lazy i mean i haven't been studying right though the year, i've handed in all my coursework on time and gone to pretty well every lecture and lab. Easily the biggest jump in difficulty and workload so far.

Yeah, also a big difference for me this year is the exams are all essay questions, in first and second year it was mostly multiple choice, which is piss-easy.
Means i have to learn everything in enough to detail to actually write about it in depth, rather than just recognise which answer looks about right. It's a bit like hard work, not enjoying it. I swear there's more information in a week of lectures now than i had to learn for the whole of a standard grade (scottish GSCE) course.
i've got two biology exams on the 20th :(eshiers1 said:i hate this time of year...exams and more exams...cant belive fate has given me one on the 20th may as well...tho it wont matter if we dont get to istanbull!!
