anyone else just killing time??

Indeed...definitely killing time today...saved up all the little things which require no brain power and can be done in a few hours flat...did them all this morning...so feel no guilt in spending the rest of the day sitting here browsing bluemoon, sending random emails to fellow blues, and generally getting myself all wound up...

Nah every year in education you always get told 'oh the next years going to be really difficult' always been a load of crap.

Right up until this year, gone from 2nd to 3rd year in Uni and it is fucking murder. If you want to do well, be prepared to have no spare time at all. I've probably been a bit lazy and now it's borderline whether i'll get into next year or not. By lazy i mean i haven't been studying right though the year, i've handed in all my coursework on time and gone to pretty well every lecture and lab. Easily the biggest jump in difficulty and workload so far.
sounds like a similar position to me...2nd year was hard but i passed quite easily...this year it will certainly be touch and go...just hope i dont end up wth resits as i have a holiday booked during the resit period!

Yeah, also a big difference for me this year is the exams are all essay questions, in first and second year it was mostly multiple choice, which is piss-easy.

Means i have to learn everything in enough to detail to actually write about it in depth, rather than just recognise which answer looks about right. It's a bit like hard work, not enjoying it. I swear there's more information in a week of lectures now than i had to learn for the whole of a standard grade (scottish GSCE) course.

I can't take any more of this - going to drive down to Manchester now and sink a few before I meet my mates at 6
I have had about 4 shits already and feel another one on its way - sorry to be blunt but this is the most nervous i have been since the Gillingham penalty shootout

oh how i wish for multiple choice exams!!
mine will be all calculation/maths based...which is not my forte (not sure what is tho tbh) so think i might struggle

dont know what next year will be like!

Good luck to those doing exams!!

Lucky for me I do art courses at college so no exams! :-D, but a shit load of coursework to say the least! :-(.

Killing time is the mother of all understatements. I've been at work since 7am. It's now 2.30 & i've done fuck all but browse the web & smoke. Can't leave til 5, so another 2.5 hours of this. Going to try & break the land speed record to get from Golborne back home to Heywood to dump the car. Still hope to be in the Bradford for around 6 ish.

If your sat near any misserable twats who wont sing or just moan. TELL THEM TO FUCK OFF HOME & NOT TO COME AGAIN. We don't need them. I would rather make the COMS smaller and have 30k fans with passion than another 18k tourists.
