Anyone else noticed...

So we stay in the cost warm dressing room and the opposition givens stand round in the freezing cold, good plan if you ask me. I'm sure we did it under royal as well.

I'd also guess that we ring the bell a little early so we can't be done as were not late, the others are early.

The reason is simple. Every opposition manager will fire up his players at half time, telling them to "get stuck into those money-grabbing twats" and so on. By delaying our return to the field, we are allowing their players to calm down a bit, nullifying the effect that their half-time words will have. It's all psychological, and it's genius!

Pretty much my thoughts Trev, but I think it`s a fine line, think it may have been Clattenburg we have done it with before, I remember the ref shaking his head and giving us proper evils not too long ago.

That was Probert, who promptly sent Balo off, so yes, you're right, it is a fine line.

Ah yes mate, was a little fuzzy as to who it was, just remember thinking at the time that the look on his face and his body language that the first opportunity he gets he`s going to make us pay.
