15k? I've got a Seiko automatic, accurate to a couple of seconds a month. Bought 13 years ago....

For me, that was a lot of money to spend on a watch. Even if I won the lottery, the thought of spending, what, 30-40k on a watch would horrify me. My everyday work watch is a Casio Duro (€50), and I doubt any Rolex, Omega or Cartier watch would be any more reliable.

Costs more than all my cars combined and I've been driving for 31 years no surprise mines in the garage :(
 
£15k gets you a really nice watch.

Why anyone would choose to buy this heap of tat over something tasteful - a Rolex Explorer or an Omega Speedmaster or something else in that price range - is totally baffling to me.

Then again, Richard Mille exists as a successful business so what the hell do I know.

The strap isn’t the problem.

Lots of very nice and expensive tool watches come with rubber straps. And many watch owners like to change straps - I own a lot of NATO straps.

Doesn’t change the fact this thing is a hideous pile of tat of course, but the strap is the last thing that’s wrong with it.

It might be limited to 1 watch. I can’t see more sales than that. And if that 1 watch doesn’t sell, they can give it to Pep.
