Club Wembley seats/licence
We will shortly be announcing a date for our next auction. We would also point out that we expect to update the Businesses For Sale section of our website several times this week with new instructions.
In the meantime however, we are delighted to be able to offer two Club Wembley “club level seat” licences, enabling the owner to pay a significantly reduced annual fee, on two adjacent seats in block 212, as a result of the insolvency of the company which own these licences.
Club Wembley sold ten-year licences when the stadium opened, valid until 2018 and the current price of a licence (which still expires in 2018) is £3,789 per seat, i.e. £7,578 for the pair.
Holders of the licence then pay £1,874 (inclusive of VAT) per annum per seat which includes tickets to:
All England senior football games
FA Cup final
Both FA Cup semi-finals
League Cup football final
FA Community Shield game
Rugby League Challenge Cup final
Tickets to other events at Wembley are offered on a first refusal basis, at a cost per event.
There are numerous other benefits to being a Club Wembley member and details of all of these can be found on the Club Wembley website, from where we have obtained all the details and prices referred to above.
We are inviting offers by way of tender, for the pair, the price being subject to a Buyer’s Premium of 15% and VAT being applicable on the total purchase price including Buyer’s Premium.
All bids must be received in writing, either by way of email to jonathan@robsonkay.co.uk or alternatively by fax to 0161 998 8222, no later than noon on Friday of this week, 12th August 2011.
The winning bidder will be notified that afternoon and will have until close of business the following Wednesday, i.e. 17th August 2011, to pay the balance in full either by way of bank transfer or credit/debit card in person at our offices only.
Please note that once we receive payment we will notify Club Wembley of the purchaser’s name and Club Wembley have confirmed that is all they need to register the new owner’s details. It is important to also note that the winning purchaser will then have to pay this season’s annual fee of £1,874 inclusive of VAT per seat immediately, to gain access to events this season.
The season is deemed as starting on August 1st so the Community Shield game which took place on the weekend just past is of course too late to attend as is this week’s football game between England and Holland, however the football game between England and Wales due to take place on 6th September 2011 is sufficiently far away that the successful bidder will gain advantage of entry to this game and all the other England games due to take place this season.
Whilst in general, as with all sales on behalf of insolvency practitioners, we cannot warrant or guarantee anything, we are prepared to make a condition of sale that if by any chance after we receive the money from the successful purchaser Club Wembley refuse to transfer the licences, it will be returned in full to the successful purchaser within 48 hours. Providing Club Wembley do agree however, as they have indicated to us in our discussions on Friday last, to transfer the licence, it will then be up to the successful purchaser to pay this year’s annual fees in whatever timescale is nominated by Club Wembley.
