Right about most of it but not sure about the entertaining part. Very few dribblers or mavericks about and lots of sideways passing around the back from most teams these days.

I remember back in the 70’s World of Sport would keep up to date with latest scores, but also injuries and there were always at least two players with broken legs every week
Making tackling from behind a bookable and potentially a sending off offence was one of the best rule changes ever in football
