Anyone panicing yet?

I am little bit worried, other than Hazard, we are not in for any top player yet.

I wish City to do all deals prior to next season preparation, we don't need to drag it till last minutes

Tbh this is a good point. Surely by now we no longer have to worry about paying a players wages for a couple of months by signing them on the last day of the transfer window.

Arsenal signing Podolski, rags signing Kagawa and that kid Powell, Real always seem to sign people up early (usually) - it would be nice if we could go into pre-season games with all our buying done for a change...........

I reckon we are going to sign 2 maybe 3 players maximum, but we need some of the big earners kicking their heals to go the other way first.

does anyone know who's responsible in the club for putting Adebayour on a 175,000 a week deal ? or bridge on a 90,000 per week ? is it Brian M. ?

i think with the amount of money we can get from moving the dead weight we have which is almost 6 players or more along with their salaries we can buy Rangers and get them a whole new team of youngsters + gattusu .

on the other hand im happy we're not going all out in the market let PSG take the heat !

Well, I'm not - I'm probably only just starting to feel a little nervous. It would be nice to see a couple of players come in but I'd even not be too concerned if we picked up a few for squad depth that aren't "superstars". Any more than 2 incoming players would concern me as, especially if they were to be 1st teamers, we'd have another bedding in period. At some point we need to stabilise and only bring through players who are going to replace players leaving or retiring.

We finished top last season whilst bedding in Aguero, Clichy, Nasri (3 first teamers) and a backup CB in Savic. Also we lost Tevez on a golfing holiday for 6 months and the Toure's to ACON. Finally we had some daft red cards for VK and Mario. Tevez is back (still think Id' be happier if we got rid) and the team have now had a season together with a PL title in the bag.

I honestly believe this team has another gear it can step up to which we saw in spots last season, first half at the Bridge springs to my mind where we looked like the home side and were battering them. If we can start to perform like that on a consistent basis then my only concerns over next season would be if we had some injuries to key players.

Going by the threads I've read I've also noticed a distinct lack of panic in people's posts.
what are we supposed to be doing - panacing? what's that? Explain and i'll probably be able to say whether i'm doing it or not.................

Uhh...the media? Those aren't the wages reported when we signed them. Those are almost double the wages first reported. The press hike up wages every season.

Not at all worried if we were to buy nobody we'd still win the league.

Quite possibly but we'd struggle to compete on all fronts without improvements so we might crash out of the Champions League again early. We're still lacking quality depth in some key areas.
