I only started placing bets last year out of boredom.

It got to the point where the rags caught up with us and started pulling ahead.

So I thought, sod it, I'll bet on United to win every game between now and the end of the season until we're out of the title race. Then I can't really lose. I'm now poor, but City won.

No need to thank me lads.

I had a £20 bet months back with my boss at work who is a rag. Funnily enough i said united would win, he said city would win, so we had the bet. Monday morning, head held high and walked straight up to his desk and slapped this fucker on it!!!

Do a £1 yankee on 4 teams to win their league.

City - Won
Reading -Won
Huddersfield -Lost
Crawley - Lost

With a yankee you need 2 to win before you get a return. Reading were 16/1 so paid for my beers on Sunday night!

I put a tenner on us winning the league after the Everton game to convince myself it was definitely going to happen. The odds weren't very good, I only got about £9 back.

Should mention I was pissed at the time.

Not won,but in the end delighted to have lost £100 !! I kid you not.Had a bet with Blue Tooth (of Blue Moon) way back after the Arsenal game and after 48 years of pain I decided that a £100 bet,would be the easiest money ever made !!
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Anyhow,either way the winner decided to nominate his Charity and a big thank you to Blue Tooth for nominating The Sierra Leone Manchester City Charity,with my cash going off in the next few days via the Reddish Supporters Club.

so that was a nice £185 or nearly a free ounce as I looked at it.

What a clown, I'd love to make a bet with that guy.

I won £180 off a £10 bet to win the league after the Arsenal game (8 behind with 6 to play).

Had £20 with Chelsea fan in work when we were 8 points behind - asked him if he wants £20 on who finishes highest between us next season - before any signings made as he was spouting they will sign big and never finish that low again but he won't take bet

I never usually do long term bets because I like instant gratification but in an act of defience I put a fiver on us at 5-1 the morning of the Arsenal match and once we went out to 16-1 after the defeat put my last 3 quid on us. A return of £111 was the icing on the cake when we won.

You need to give me the details of your bookie pal, that bet only pays £81 ;o)
