Interesting how we get rid of him and our defensive midfield turns to shit. When you throw Garcia and Rodwell out there, it really does make you realize what we're missing. Not to mention we sold him for beans and bought an arguably less effective player (Garcia) for 15-16 Million. Stupid.

Garcia can be as good or better than De Jong if people actually give him some time to settle. He's played something like 3 or 4 games for us. There were better players than both NDJ and Garcia we might have signed like De Rossi or Vidal but didn't. De Jong was nothing special in his first half season for us. Garcia was very very good for Benfica in the CL last season so has already shown quality at European level, enough to get him called up and capped for Spain too.

not too long ago ,there were moaners pissing on NDJ for being slow ,not good with ball,can't pass ,too short ,too aggressive, gives love a bad name ..too bald ..etc etc and suddenly he missed ....

i am still missing him, it was a mistake to let him go.
With DE - JONG we would be unbeatable.
We gave him away for a bird like Rodwell!!!!!! De Jong is 1000x better than him.
