Arsène Wenger expects Andrey Arshavin to be available to face Manchester City on April 24.
The Arsenal manager rejected reports that the Russian could miss the rest of the season due to a calf strain.
The midfielder had to be substituted 27 minutes into the 2-2 draw with Barcelona and on Thursday Wenger told Arsenal TV Online that the 28-year-old would be out for three weeks.
However, reports emerged on Friday suggesting that Arshavin may miss the remainder of the season.
But at his pre-match press conference on Friday afternoon, Wenger wasn't in agreement with that speculation
"I don't think [he will miss the remained of the season]," said the manager.
"Let's count 21 days. It is April 2. April 23 he should be capable to play. Possibly Man City. He should be available for that game."
