Anyone Starting to Fancy Our Chances in the Arsenal Fixture?

Can't really see us winning at Arsenal for a number of reasons ......

first , that even when they have one or two players out they have fairly good players to bring in , so i don't think ommisions will really affect them too much

secondly , because we're not likely to go there with an attack minded side ...... and with that we will have only a very limited amount of chances to score , if any!

and thirdly because we've already beaten them twice this season , and i can't see them slipping up at home against us in this one ..... especially as they still have the title to play for.

Was always going to be a tough game for us but with the current injury situation for us its just got even tougher , saw the game agaisnt chelsea and if you play like that then you will walk away with the three points but we should have enough even with injuries to prevent that happening ! too early to predict now as still have three weeks left and plenty of time for players to either recover , like arshavin , van persie possibly but on the other hand more players may get injured between now and then ! don't think we will win the title now and if it means that you get a point and it stops the yids getting 4th place i suppose id be happy with that .

Not an easy place to get anything from, as their home record since they've moved there indicates. I had written this one off, so if we were to get even a point, I'd be delighted.

Fair play. I thought the league was there for the taking for your lot with your easy run in, but the late goal against brum and the injuries since have put you out of the picture IMO

I look for Ade to be extra focused with something to prove. He's been sketchy this year and could really redeem himself with a big game at The Emirates.

if we go their and attack it will be a proper open game, end to end type.

I don't wanna make out and make it sound like were shit by saying we can only win because they have a few players out, i just think with them out it helps,

even with a full team i think we could win, they are the sort of team we love to play, attack on attack, two teams going for it and not parking the bus, more space on the pitch, more chances, proper football.

the main reasons why agames against shit teams are just shit, breaking them down is hard, it sounds daft but breaking arsenal down will be easier than breaking a team like wigan down.

It's one game at a time now but at the moment I prefer Arsenal away to Spurs at COMS.

They just drew with Barca without all of the above (Fabrgas hardly moved during the game)

I wouldn't write them off yet... i'd like them to sneak something at Camp Nou, as our game would fall right inbetween the two legs and we could take advantage.

They were pretty lucky though. Barca absolutely ripped them apart.

so coming back from two goals down against the best team in europe is somehow lucky ?!! yes they ripped us apart for sixty minutes and but they still only managed two goals which were given away by a centre midfielder covering at centre half due to an injury ! we showed the character to come back into it so don't see how that is lucky ?

35 vs 65 % possession and 6 vs 17 shots at goal.

You deserve plently of credit for fighting back, but no doubt at all there was fair element of luck in the fact you got a draw. You couldn't have complained if you were 3 or 4 down by half time, you were lucky, it's not an insult (not when you're playing Barca), it's just a fact really.

First half hour... last 15-20 it was comical how easy Walcott out did Maxwell and the back four for pace.

Either way there was nothing lucky about Arsenal's two goals, Barca can conceed... can Arsenal hold off messi at home, think thats where they'll fall down.
