I think i'm definitley going to get one, does anyone know more about this discount on Friday?

It's definitely on because they've sent me an email tonight confirming it. Just says one day only special sale.

See, I stayed with PC and got a HP laptop with a miles better spec for £469. You're paying for the brand which is stupid.

Why are there so many Mac forums for problems then?

I find that funny.

There's millions more for PC

Spec is relative. Mac's don't need a ridiculous spec because the OS doesn't hog resources and RAM.

Actually, Vista doesn't hog my resources. I use them for games, which I can play.

People who are in the market for a mac generally don't play silly games.

People who are in the market for a mac are generally people who walk around going "look at me aren't I all pretty with my silly little computer that looks nice"

I'm not wound up about it! I do have a PC as well btw ;) (although it's covered in dust now)

But enjoy your virus scans and spyware scans and defrag sessions. :p

Oh dear that site is hilarious. I love the fact he couldn't install itunes or quick time onto his PC. Just goes to show how gash windows really is.

hehe as a matter of fact I bought a dell xps not so long ago and have not had 1 problem, runs superfast and it even looks nice, for a much less costly sum! I can sense your rage as you sit infront of your superduper I-whatever the call it!

Oh and svennis read the rest of the articles, fookin hilarious I love his stuff, just wish he would update it more!

But will it in a years time if you don't do any housekeeping on it? No.

I've had my MacBook (not an "i" in sight) over a year and not had one issue with it. The PCs I've had, I dread to think what state they'd have been in if I wasn't religious with scanning and defragging.
