It's definitely on because they've sent me an email tonight confirming it. Just says one day only special sale.

Halfpenny said:See, I stayed with PC and got a HP laptop with a miles better spec for £469. You're paying for the brand which is stupid.
Banned Tosspot said:Why are there so many Mac forums for problems then?
I find that funny.

Actually, Vista doesn't hog my resources. I use them for games, which I can play.quiet_riot said:Banned Tosspot said:Why are there so many Mac forums for problems then?

Spec is relative. Mac's don't need a ridiculous spec because the OS doesn't hog resources and RAM.

People who are in the market for a mac are generally people who walk around going "look at me aren't I all pretty with my silly little computer that looks nice"

But enjoy your virus scans and spyware scans and defrag sessions. :p

But will it in a years time if you don't do any housekeeping on it? No.
I've had my MacBook (not an "i" in sight) over a year and not had one issue with it. The PCs I've had, I dread to think what state they'd have been in if I wasn't religious with scanning and defragging.
