April TV Fixtures

Although they've been announced as "subject to CL", I wonder if simply by announcing these times, Sky believes it has extra leverage to stick with them regardless of whether we or any other English team progresses. Arguing that production plans are already underway might strengthen their hand? I wouldn't think they're that bothered about the CL with it being on a rival channel. Or have I missed a rule that they must move games should their be a CL clash? Or am I just being unduly cynical?

Why would that matter? Not for the derby, only dependent on CL draw and game days (for both clubs).

The semi finals of the FA Cup IIRC are the same weekend that the rags are due to play us. So if the rags are in the semi final the derby will be postponed

I think

Semi finals are 2 weeks after we play united

Yes swansea game weekend.

Cannot see the derby moved but maybe it will be put to a 12:30 kick off if we both are playing the tuesday previous as tha time slot is free.

Keep it at 5:30pm and Portland st, Ancoats Northern quarter will be manic, by 4pm as many will booze all day in pubs used by blues and reds (normally after is fine as them fuckers all go home).

Just mentioned on the PL thread, but say United got past Seville and we drew them.......

3/4 April: CL United
April 7th PL United
10/11 April: CL United

Who likes that??! haha

Last train back to Manchester on the Spurs game is 21.00. So it's either a drive home leaving Wembley around 9.45 or an overnight stay. Once again the TV companies have the fans best interests at heart
The young uns can just hit the clubs and dance the night away impressing the southerners with their Hacienda moves. Early breakfast and home in the morning.

Derby game 5.30pm ko ha ha that's going to be fun.
Can’t fucking wait for that. My favourite kick off time against the enemy where we may even be able to win to league... don’t think you could top that!
