Are City a better team without Yaya ?

I believe we are a different team without Yaya; not better or worse, just different. On his day Yaya can be an immense player with great vision and strength on those driving runs, and he has a gift for scoring some crucial goals. On off-days Yaya can be slow & deliberate & appears lazy & nonchalant & takes too long getting back into position. This season he has had more of those games than we would like to see, but in his defense maybe he is suffering from playing too many games. Against Arsenal we showed that our strong squad if rotated carefully can play well and get a good result without him, and we are now playing better as a team.

On a separate but related note, I can't take the ACON seriously; it is played too often and at the wrong time of year. Most of their players earn their living in Europe, so ACON should be played in the European summer break, and only once every 4 years (in non-WC & non-euro years. If they keep on running it like they have their players will suffer as clubs paying big money need their star players available for all the european season.

With Yaya in the team under the same circumstances yesterday, that would have been a cricket score.

Amazing how you know that
Joe Hart would have been out for a duck and Diaby would have been out LBW.

Explain the laboured win over Reading and loss to Sunderland then (compared with great forward play against Norwich and Newcastle in the games either side of them where Nasri was playing).

It baffles me to see how Nasri is underrated here, some guy on transfer forum just said that that Barcelona kid Defloueu (or whatever) would surely be a starter over Nasri.

Unbelievable
Yes but Defloueu is a bit more exotic sounding even than Nasri and I'm sure Defloueu is well good on Football Manager, thats how the Transfer Forum works
1. Exotic name.......check
2. Good on FM13.....check
3. A chance nobody has heard of him making me sound like a football god.....check
4. But the holy grail is knowledge of a buy out clause they fucking love a buy out clause in the deluded world of the transfer forum

Just ignore the fact most buy out clauses are set at twice the reasonable price for a player

Also Im sure I heard somewhere that some of the "clauses" can't be actioned outside the country the player plays in

How well I've remembered this I don't know it was a while ago and I've had a few sleeps since

It should have been anyway if our forwards could finish.
Sort of the point, It could of been 6-1 yesterday but we wont ever know what it would of been if Yaya played as we played a different game without him

-- Mon Jan 14, 2013 3:16 pm --

team would of set up differently, probably means defender not sent off. All manner of changes come in an alternate reality
