Revenues 2011-2012 - Not got the 2012-2013 figures yet but think there will be a much bigger gap between us.

This is from Deloitte

1 Real Madrid - £414.7m (revenue 2011-12)
2 Barcelona - £390.8m
3 Manchester United - £320.3m
4 Bayern Munich - £298.1m
5 Chelsea - £261m
6 Arsenal - £234.9m
7 Manchester City - £231.1m
8 AC Milan - £207.9m
9 Liverpool - £188.7m
10 Juventus - £158.1m
11 Borussia Dortmund - £153m
12 Inter - £150.4m
13 Tottenham - £144.2m
14 Schalke - £141.2m
15 Napoli - £120.1m
16 Marseille - £109.8m
17 Lyon - £106.7m
18 Hamburg - £98m
19 Roma - £93.8m
20 Newcastle - £93.3m

we'll fly past arsenal within the next 2 years.

You would expect us to fly past Arsenal and Chelsea in the next two years.

it depends really on what they can achieve on the pitch, you'd expect us to at least get a lot closer to them.

I would expect with this years figures when they come through properly will show is above both Arsenal and Chelsea due to increases in corporate and sponsorships compared to both of them. There is only £30m difference based as of 2011-2012 results.

5 Chelsea - £261m
6 Arsenal - £234.9m
7 Manchester City - £231.1m

Right here goes

I am a manc, but I lived in Liverpool for 4 years and really loved the place and the people. It was just like living in manc, but with a silly accent.

Naaaah, much too obvious.

Wind-ups have got to have something that could be true even it's actually WUMming, and this is just too far fetched to be believable.

You should have posted something like 'I was in stoke once and counted four people who only had ten fingers'. Complete bollocks of course, but you get the point that it might be true?

Chelsea have made some good deals recently I believe but I expect us to be neck-in-neck for sure. Revenues are looking increasingly good for us and I'm really happy!

I heard on Talkshite this week that Arsenal's annual revenue from shirt sponsorship was increasing from £5m to £30m.

Also, PSG will be a threat to the top 5 before long with their £150m "partnership" agreement with the Qataris.

That said, I agree that we could well pass Arsenal and Chelsea in the next couple of years, particularly if we beat them on the pitch and gain more TV and CL revenue.

Liverpool and Everton still have a get out of jail free card and they've had it for years now which is a groundshare in Stanley park.

If they were to join forces and get the funding they would be a force to contend with but I'm afraid their fans are a bit thick and keep fighting the plan which everyone can see would be a great idea.

Would you want to share a ground with the RAGS ?

Completely hypothetical as Liverpool and Everton are in the same city. Us and manyooooo aren't.

AC and Inter share a stadium in Milan, as do 1860 and FC Bayern in München. And these sets of fans despise each other.

The tiles on the outside of the Allianz Arena in München even change colour, depending which team is at home.

While I wouldn't say I'd be happy to share a ground with the Trafford filth, I would accept it, if it happened, especially if it was in City's best interests.

And that's how the Scousers should feel, IMHO.

That's wrong. Man United are the biggest club in the world. Everyone knows that.
