Are City really ruining football?

Nah. The supposed adults pushing this narrative are behaving like the kid in the playground who takes his ball away because he doesn't like the way the game is going.
Kind of sad really because we all know that if Pep was producing this level of brilliance at one of the 'organic' clubs they'd be running out of superlatives.
The only response is to laugh it off and drink it in.

Players lose form every now and then. We cannot be buying players just to cover loss of form. Yes, Sterling has been poor for 18 months, but so what we had Foden there already as first choice, and Sterling as backup squad player. Is that a position that we needed to spend British transfer record on ?
If Sterling was certain to leave, then I understand somewhat, but it doesn't look like so.

Do Chelsea have 3 players for 1 position ? United's forwards are at the end of their careers, and came cheap.
united are paying more than 60 million pound per year in wages than City, that is how cheap Ronaldo and Cavani are, not to mention hefty signing on fees.

Plus apparently no team should have more than one player to cover, pretty sure we have more than two midfielders and wingers who need covering, not to mention when players like De Bruyne are injured and are fast approaching their latter years.

Anyhow, you are either trolling/united fan/moron and more than likely all three, so will not be replying to you again on this thread.

What’s ruining football is the lack of contact allowed these days and the corruption in the game for example, VAR in its current form is just a way of the powers that be manipulating the outcomes of games and the CL drawer last week being re-drawn because they didn’t like some of the match ups.
Football now is absolutely shite compared to when I used to go in the 80’s/90’s.

Nope we're ruining everybody else's enjoyment of football

Fuck em

VAR is fucking it, if anything. Your shoulder was offside a little. One of many fucking jokes against us.

Stop with this myth about buying players. Have you seen their wage bills? It's not our fault they spend money on shite.

What would 'unruined' football look like?

Rags and Liverpool winning almost everything, with Arsenal getting the odd trophy. And the owners of these teams taking huge profits and exporting them from football (and the UK.)

Because I tell you this, if City did not exist, Bolton, Luton and Grimsby wouldn't suddenly start winning stuff. Not. A. Chance.
