Owners. A succession of self made crooks who have owned the club, portrayed as life long fans each has stripped it until it has ended up on the scrapheap.
We could easily have ended up the same way.

Apparently their ticket office only opens part way through the week for a couple of hours because of administration/staffing levels, they took over 2,500 to Preston last week but that was reduced to £5 a ticket

But the thread began with Burnley bringing a paltry number. I know they are not bright but even Burnley fans can get to Manchester in an hour.

I think it’s a double edged question. For an example I have a Burnley fan that is a season ticket holder. I asked if he was going to the past 2-0 fixture and his reply was why do I want to see my team humiliated. Then on the flick side, when we weren’t a threat I used to love the home and away days at the big boys, just to watch the better quality player and stars..

living in burnley most of my mates are burnley fans, the simple reason they said to me for not coming to the etihad last sat was “we’re sick of getting hammered off you every game” burnley have a decent support in fairness to them, but a couple of thousand burnley fans must’ve had the same thoughts? maybe covid plays a part who knows for sure? one thing is certain is thats the poorest away following from burnley i can ever remember maine road included
