If I'm right(I'm maybe wrong) the 5th-7th places will get into the Europa League provided Fulham don't win the Europa League(in that case 7th will have to relinquish their spot) or Liverpool collapse and finish 8th but win the Europa League.

We're 5 points ahead of Villa with 6 games left, and 4 ahead of Liverpool with a game in hand.

We have to look up not down, also the Fair Play League is an extra spot should England be awarded an extra spot Fulham or Burnley would take it at this time.

although if we win tomorrow the lowest is 8th

try the bbc predictor to get us into 11th or lower, it can't be done, even with the most outlandish results...

if, and its a big if, fulham, birmingham and stoke were to win all the games they finish with 59, 61 and 60 points respectively, therefore if we were to lose all our games they can catch us hence 11th is the worst at the moment

sorry I have got this wrong, doing my research if Fulham win they may apply for a placing in the Europa League, and UEFA give them special dispensation, so it's official that 5th-7th will be Europa League spots this season, because Portsmouth can't qualify for Europe and Spurs will finish in the top 7(bar a horrific collapse).

"If the previous UEFA Europa League title-holders are not eligible to take part in either of the current UEFA club competitions (UEFA Champions League or UEFA Europa League) by virtue of their domestic form, the UEFA Administration may, at the request of the association of the club concerned, admit this club to the current UEFA Europa League competition. Its participation will not be at the expense of the contingent of its association."

not at the moment because that fixture is not on the predictor

but as both teams have a game missing then it would seem logical its against one another and then we would move up a place

yeah, it's on the premier league's predictor and stuck on the last day of the season because it hasn't been re-arranged yet, with Fulham in the Europa League they are probably having trouble finding a date for it.

unfortunately not mate, it used to be 3rd and 4th into a qualifier and just 1st and 2nd automatically into the group stage but they changed it recently to allow the top 3 straight into the group stage and 4th into a 2 leg play off to get there. they also changed the rule regarding a team winning the champs league but finishing outside the champs league places in the league as if this happened then 4th place would then become a europa league place and only the top 3 teams and the champs league winner that finished outside the top4 would qualify. (simply put the maximum teams 1 country can have is 4) this was brought in following the scousers debacle a few years back.
