True enough. But we as a club have clearly been in a void, because of the extra year Guardiola wanted at Bayern. We gave Pellegrini another year, and was a wasted year for us. We needed refreshing during that time, but instead everything went on hold, at the worst time. When we should have kicked on from winning the league the last time, we went stale and predictable and time waits for no man. Our lads just got older. I get that we waited for Guardiola to be available and that he was coming, but when he was ready, and I get that the club wanted to wait for that to come about. But the timing of it was all thrown out given what we had. If Pep couldnt come then, we should have found someone else because its cyclical and he didnt fit in with then turning of our wheel. It's quite strange that a guy with no coaching or managerial experience can be given such a crucial job. At its heart it is fundamentally flawed.
Don't know about the players i am ran to the car after the game to get back asap fucked only ran for 10 mins need a pint.We start every season like a house on fire, winning virtually every game and dismantling teams with a high tempo style. As soon as October arrives we become sluggish and dip in and out of form for the remainder of the season.
Do our players simply lack natural fitness?
No. Pep warned us earlier on when we were on that 10 game winning run things were going to be incredibly tough this season. Nothing to do with fitness as such.
As fuck!Slow.
Jesus arrives soon, and Sane is being held back until then. All will be well eventually, not this season thoughWouldnt say we are unfit just lack pace to threaten anyone on the counter

But when things get tough it demands effort, commitment, and some determination.
