Are we Simply Unfit?

Not enough with balls I'd say. That and also the fact that too many of our team are too old.

It's quite strange that a guy with no coaching or managerial experience can be given such a crucial job. At its heart it is fundamentally flawed.
True enough. But we as a club have clearly been in a void, because of the extra year Guardiola wanted at Bayern. We gave Pellegrini another year, and was a wasted year for us. We needed refreshing during that time, but instead everything went on hold, at the worst time. When we should have kicked on from winning the league the last time, we went stale and predictable and time waits for no man. Our lads just got older. I get that we waited for Guardiola to be available and that he was coming, but when he was ready, and I get that the club wanted to wait for that to come about. But the timing of it was all thrown out given what we had. If Pep couldnt come then, we should have found someone else because its cyclical and he didnt fit in with then turning of our wheel.

said that since that Celtic game something changed but every time i post hereu got (2 members here ) slating what i say ( twat, crazy .. armchair supporter ... you live in France .... rag .. ect )

i believe in someting called ROI (return on investment ) ours is soo bad given all the hype arround and ressources something should be done you cannot accept thoses results one bad results or two could happen but not a series in a row

so yes no taste in our games something should change

We start every season like a house on fire, winning virtually every game and dismantling teams with a high tempo style. As soon as October arrives we become sluggish and dip in and out of form for the remainder of the season.

Do our players simply lack natural fitness?
Don't know about the players i am ran to the car after the game to get back asap fucked only ran for 10 mins need a pint.

Not unfit, just lack athletes and are carrying some lazy players. Liverpool have less talented players but great athletes and a mental work rate.

Not unfit, just a squad that has its limitations and reliance on 3 or 4 players. Unfortunate some of the players bought in the summer to address last years shortcomings have suffered injuries.

If either silva or kdb are restricted by the better organised teams we struggle to create chances. Teams let us have the ball at times and they re group to good effect.

We are too reliant on 4 of the oldest full backs in the league and who knows why this hasnt been adressed as it has been glaringly obvious for years that our full backs are not the quickest.

I love Fernandinho but don't see him as a DM more a box to box roamer, when he pushes up the field we have a huge gap that the likes of Barry and Dejong never left because they sat in the centre of the pitch and cleaned up almost everything, this is why YAYA is not a good pick alongside him as a dm cos he leaves a lot of the clean up work to Dinho and Stones then gets pulled out of position.

It's just that our 20 passes give the opposition time to get into position!

But when things get tough it demands effort, commitment, and some determination.

Put it this we we didn't get battered as we normally do at Anfield. We see how the rest of the season pans out. It is only glimmers at this present time but there is small signs of improvement.

We won the league and the element within the club who felt threatened by Mancini and his more direct relationship with the Sheik, acted.
He rightly pointed to making less signings, but off the highest quality. He was right.
