As the title suggests when will City get the credit they deserve, we have played the best football the premier league have witnessed, we have broken numerous records over the years, scored more goals considering our football is boring within certain group, the media hate us despite the fact that over the last 7 years we have made the premier league the most entertaining league in the world. The so called top 4 have contributed fuck all to value of the English game.

Agreed if it wasn’t for Pep all the teams would be stuck in the 90’s playing hoofball. There’s still one team that does but it seems their manager is off his head and too busy abusing and gurning at the officials to coach his team properly.

Always have been, our players are criminally underrated (ake, bernardo, stones) especially.
It's good in a way. Remember when Bernardo was in the market a couple of seasons ago for a Covid cut-price and no one came in for him. Ake and Stones are among the best defenders in the league, yet don't have to get worried about anyone poaching them away from us.

As a whole most definitely.

Having said that most believe;

Pep is the best manager in the world

Kev is the best midfielder in the world

Haaland is the best number 9 in the world

Collectively though a lot of people are too jealous and salty to acknowledge how great this team are and have been. The 'anybody could do what they've done with dirty oil money' jibes soon follow any praise we are given. You only have to look how much Chelsea, the rags et al have haemorrhaged in recent years to know that spending money doesn't guarantee any kind of success.

I was watching 'The Overlap' the other day and they were saying IF we win the treble which team should be considered the superior. It's not even close! We've accumulated as many points as them already this season with 5 games remaining. Utd were never acknowledged as THE best team in Europe (which we arguably have been for about 3 or 4 seasons), they got absolutely battered in the final and fluked the Champions League and they only qualified for that competition by finishing 2nd in the EPL in the previous season. It's still a fantastic achievement of course and we still have a long way to get over the finishing line. Let's be real however, they are not a patch on this team! In all honesty we should be talking about the quadruple right now. We threw the League Cup away with that team selection at Southampton after already knocking Liverpool and Chelsea out.

To knock us off our perch you realistically have to be looking at getting 90+ points in a season. Crikey Liverpool got 97 points one season and still finished second. They're unparalleled numbers and the like of which we may never see again. Enjoy it while you can!!!
