Are you a footie fan,or just a City fan ??

More a City fan than anything . Although I do like watching non league football now and again . If I have a free weekend or City are away I will go watch Bradford Park Avenue . My Bradford Park Avenue mate says I should stop watching City . And go watch Park Avenue more .

City, Premier League, La Liga, Champions League, Europa League for me and I have just started watching the Argentine Primera and trying to get into the Copa Libertadores recently.

I would like to watch more Serie A and Bundesliga next season if possible.

City
Basketball
Cycling
Football

In that order. I can watch any team playing basketball more than I can watch non City football. The skill on show in basketball is far in excess of most football games. Tour cycling fascinates me. I can sit and watch tour stages all day.

I watch allsorts of football besides City, recently been watching Chorley near me and they aren't bad at all to watch, should get promotion this year at the expense of FC scum of Manchester! Also watched a lot of La Liga too this year, their title race is even more interesting than ours, only 1-2 points in it!

Not too interested in Internationals apart from the big competitions but they are obviously only every 2 years but I have zero passion for England. It would be more exciting if there were some decent lads coming through with some talent who could get you up out your seat but what is on show at the moment is pathetic. If the WC England team is anything composed of Gerrard, Lampard or Crouch or any other overrated shite then I will refuse to watch it.

Football fan for sure i will watch any match. The fact that i was football mad when young lives in me forever, but City is and has always been my team and thats the pride and passion that getting older can never take away.

-- Tue Apr 15, 2014 9:36 pm --

Football fan for sure i will watch any match. No just Manchester City for me. I watch a lot of football but hate to see English teams do well in Europe (apart from us obviously). I cannot and will not get behind the likes of Shrek and Wellbad so that's England out (they're shit anyway) and I love it when Chelski, Scum and the Arse lose. I'll love it even more if the dippers lose between now and the end of the season. A few people at work have said "you're a City fan not a football fan". Which in a way is a little ironic because now-a-days we often play the best football.

City fan first, like watching football live and would rather watch Farnworth Hurricanes on a Saturday morning than El Classico on TV Can't stand the overpaid knobheads who talk over the game, at least the bores behind me have paid for their tickets.

I keep interest in our rivals and to a lesser extent the leagues teams as a whole.
I will not watch the french league or italian though, defo not that into it, got better things to do.

I will always watch a prem match but am liable to lose interest quick if it is a shit match, then i may glance over once in a while if that.
Exaxtly the same mate
Its the way to be

Football fan. For various reasons I've 'supported' lots of other clubs over the years. I live in London at the moment and have a soft spot for Charlton and Orient and I go and watch them sometimes. One love though!

I like to chat with opposition fans at away games about football in general and I find it's helps the conversation if you know their most important games e.g. at Wembley met some great Sunderland fans and taking about the 3-2 in 1992,1985 league cup final missed pen and Leeds in 1973 shows you know your stuff. I find people like to get an oppositions perspective about their club.

Got a bit of soft spot for Sunderland now (apart from tomorrow obviously). Was great finding about them doing the Poznan etc.. Good club, similar to us pre take over.
