Talking of Christmas our youngest daughter did ask when she was about 7 why Santa brought her stuff that said made in China…erm erm outsourcing love - think we got away with it that year.

They get sharp from about 6 onwards, don't they? I think it's about the extreme limit of them literally going along with the myth. After that, well, they go along with it for the fun.

I've had 2 boys, first one born in 2017 was very bittersweet as he was premature (21 weeks), he came out breathing and fought hard but sadly passed away the same day.

Since then our 2nd boy was born and he will be 2 this week. I genuinely can't describe the feeling I had when he arrived safely after the heartache of our first loss and a number of miscarriages, it was overwhelming. He brings us so much joy and I love him to pieces (he looks quality in his city kits as well :))

Feel for you. My son developed meningitis in the first week of his life. He was brilliantly treated, we got it in time, he's just turned forty and a father of a six-year-old himself. But for a few days, we were absolutely shitting bricks.

it's called character building in our house, when they think things can't get any worse i remind em of that day and say look where we are now

I cherish my 2 year old , in the 1st year I would sleep had to keep checking her incase of sids

I have a 2 year , I do everything , the sleepless night she ends up in bed with me , the teething she with me all the time

Very proud of what my two have achieved. Neither of 'em are as City-centric as me and should, by rights, be Oldham fans, but the offspring they have produced has given me a lifelong task of introducing them to all things City. The five year old grandson sent me a message of sympathy following the CL debacle saying he was sorry for my team! His Dad had clearly taken the opportunity to rub in a bit of woe, so I texted back and said "My team? It's OUR team!" My EROs seventeen month old has the full kit and today we took him to the park wearing his Moonchester tee shirt. So all in all, things have turned out just bloody right!
