Are you addicted to the internet?

I would miss it and short term it would be disaster financially, but in the long run the world would be a much safer, less divided and generally more pleasant place to live.

I would burn it all down if I could.
 
Were all a bit addicted to it, but I dont really like it
I hate social media
Never knew there were so many nasty people
I think I was happier when the internet didnt exist
 
The same with any technology, it can, and will be abused for all manner of things, but it's also very liberating, as it takes the power and control of information out of the hands of a few and gives it to all, which can also be a problem!!
If I need to learn something DIY related, I'll just google it, instead of having to locate a book, which may, or may not have the answer.
I use it for research everyday for my job as a designer, 15/20 years ago, I'd be trawling through books everyday, while I still use books, the internet had made my job so much easier.
If it went, I'd have to go back to books, but at least libraries would benefit!
 
Yes I am. Take the Internet away and I'd have to try and talk to real girls, or dig out a LIttlewoods catalogue.

I think the world would be a less hectic and less overly attuned place without the internet and I would love it if we have one month when all of internet is switched off (not possible) so we could feel life without the intrusion of internet technology.

Not to say internet is a bad thing, it’s one of our best inventions, but really would like to see how society can cope with a temporary global shutdown and what societal phenomena it would create.

At the moment I’m not addicted to the internet but this Rules of Survival mobile game really justifies therapy for myself. Cant put the game down for weeks!

Businesses would collapse. No communication, payment systems unable to operate.

Be careful what you wish for, you'd be out of a job very swiftly along with millions, indeed billions of others. Instant global calamity.

We are utterly reliant on it now.
