My mate, big Al was going through a painful divorce, due mainly to his devotion to our beloved Blues.

At his Custody Hearing, he stood up in Court and stated....

'' You can take the wife....

You can take the kids...

You can take the house...

You can take the car ...

....But you will never take The Kippax !!!!....''

Just had a massive ding dong with the other half. She's been going on for weeks about seeing fame at the cinema, and decided that monday night was the night. When i told her it was a no-go as i was away to Villa, she hit the fuckin roof. Her parting line was ' Why dont you get married to fucking Manchester City then? '. Think she's gone to her Mum's, not quite sure though....

Anyone else had this problem?

count yourself lucky, mine comes to games with me.

My best mate has a citation on his divorce papers
"More interested in the welfare of Manchester City Football Club than me"
F...in Quality

For most of us a love of City will be the longest Relationship in our lives. I went to Maine Road first on 7th December 1968 at the age of Seven. On that day City beat Burnley 7 - 0 with goals from Doyle, Lee, Coleman, Young (2) and Bell (2). I would love it if any posters older than me could tell me something about the actual game but maybe that is for another thread or a PM.

I was 48 last Sunday - Derby Day,( only Ben Foster remembered my Birthday.)

The Relationship now stretches over 41 years.

My mother died when I was a child. I should outlive my Father by more than 7 years. My Daughter is 26. My Wife I met in 1994. My ex- Wife in 1981. My Grandchildren are 4 and 3 and 2. My only Brother was a year old on the day my Uncle first took me to Maine Road. See the point about long Relationships??

It has been 41 years of Commitment ( mostly one way) but it is not a marriage.

We are not married to City. We are enslaved by them.

der-bomber thats quality.

+ anything else i can think of and get away with that includes beer and getting away !

The choice is simple like it or lump it. Mine gave up trying to change me, but the other side of the coin she goes shopping out for meals with her work mates.
