What did everyone wanna be when they were younger as life turned out the way you wanted it to,,,,, I wanted to be a Spy now im an arse on a chair.......

I Feel depressed!!!!

I think i seem to remember wantin' to be a journalist at primary school , but to be honest i was never really that passionate about it ........ in high school i never really knew what i wanted to be , so i didn't make much effort to get any relevant qualifications ...... these days i'm nothing , just a nobody ... probably always will be now!

Signed ....... Mamba , life full of regrets!

Tell me about it !!!

I'm not what I wanted or even what I want to be, but with what I've got and the opportunities available I can achieve targets that I will be satisfied with. I'm happy to do what I'm doing if it can get me where I want to be, which I think it will.

I tell you what, I was watching an advert with buildings being blown up and I thought to myself that deep down all blokes would want to do a job like that; blowing things up or smashing things up with a big fuck off demolition ball

No. I like to tell myself I peaked too soon, at 17 I was training to be a financial advisor for the RBS. They talked me out of going back to college to finish my A Levels and started me on 12k a year. 5 years later, I havnt been to work for 10 months, have accumulated over 30k debt since I was 18 but have still got on the property ladder.

For years I actually wanted to be in the police force, but after a few encounters with them realised most of 'em are useless cunts and id rather work with monkeys!

At the age of 29 I still have no idea what I want to be when I grow up. I had no idea through school, left college early and have now started doing a degree in IT through the company I work for. I speak a bit of geek and I find computers and the like quite fascinating so decided that I was going to go for it and get into the industry. I'm going to be a nerd!

At the end of the day I'm happy with where I'm at now, but know I can do a lot better. Its about time I listened to what the teachers said over a decade ago and applied myself and fulfilled that potential I've let sit dormant for quite some time. Its never too late really is it?

Unfortunately, far too easily. I've been there. It's a very dark place.

That's right, mate. A couple of credit cards, a couple of redundancies, bitches of ex girlfriends, hedonistic lifestyle. Still, end of the day it was my money, I blew it and it was my decision to blow it at the time. Learnt the hard way and regret doing it, but if we learn by our mistakes I've learnt shitloads. Nobody I know will get a credit card or loan without me telling them the pitfalls. If I can help othrs out by telling them where I went wrong then it wasn't all for nothing.

Yep, credit cards. My knowledge on how to aquire credit worked against me, even though I saw what being a spend thrift could do! I went on 5 holidays, went out on the piss a lot and pretty much bought what I wanted when I wanted. My mum and dad bailed me out and paid 20k off, but since May I have got into another 8k debt...I know what im doing but cant stop myself. I dont go out anymore but having cards registered to online stores/auction sites while I sit in the house 24/7 doesnt help ;)
