Fuck me..I do that all the time,for a quiet life.

Not saying I'm right or wrong here (everyone's circumstances are different), but I don't think I could say sorry when there's nothing to apologise for or keep schtum for a quiet life.

As my girlfriend pointed out, why would a person want to be with someone who nagged at them all the time? If it was a friend who constantly pecked your head, you'd bin them off.

I work with some educated & well balanced professional women. From time to time they talk about giving their partners "the silent treatment". I've pointed out that us blokes don't mind a bit of peace & quiet every now and again. ;)

You do realise that you've ruined it for those poor poor blokes!

Instead of the silent treatment, they'll now get the regular random outburst treatment.
