there was a fella who sits near me today in the colin bell stand shouting and swearing at the top of his voice, as per usual.
Everyone around him doesn't mind and finds him pretty funny to be honest.
Anyway today these two women, about 70 years old a piece, were sat next to him and took offence to the swearing and whatnot. i think they told him to watch his language and he got really annoyed and started shouting at em' "I'm just getting behind the team etc"
I know this topic has been done before but i've never experienced it. It's not like we were in the family stand, which i would accept would be a problem with the kiddies and all, and yet they kick off after a few F's and a couple of B's
is it just me who gets annoyed at the people who complain about swearing? It's not the fucking theatre people, get over it.

We are usually family standers but were put in CB level 1 today. Anyway some guy in the row in front says to me before the game "i'm sorry if i swear in front of your kids during the upcoming match i will try to watch my language". My reply was if I choose to take my child to a football match or to the pub she is going to hear swearing so don't worry about us. He then tells me about a woman who was removed from her seat and banned for a number of games cos of swearing! Some people need to get a life, it's a football game not a church!

The lad next to me in 206 was asked to calm down in the 2nd half, it was pathetic. He wasn't a usual 206'er and actually brought some atmosphere to the Block.

i tried to curb my swearing today, the usual fans were not in their seats, we were surrounded by younger fans, i did lapse now and again but i did respect our new followers best i could.

depends - personally i hate just swearing for swearing sake - just bores me - dont mind on occassions but 90 minutes of fook this fook that just grates - however if there is some humour in it then no problems - once went to a Ranger match sat next to a guy whom must have been 70 - nice as pie totally polite until the game kicked off - then proceeded 90 minutes of pure obscenaties with do much humour i pissed myslef for the whole game - so for me context is important

was a guy swearing constantly behind us in the family stand today, was really funny cause his mate was telling him off everytime saying your gonna get us chucked out. personally i don't give a fucking shit what fuck anyone fucking says.

a big argument today in 209 with some miserable bastards having a go at a bloke for standing up!!!!!

Must admit I felt a bit uncomfortable today in CB L1

Gow was taking a free kick about 10 yards away and I shouted, "You'll never get in the box from there, Gow!"

I was a bit loud admiittedly, but I though you were allowed to shout at football ! People were turning arounfd as if I'd farted at a funeral.
