Arguments before the Derby

I take for him to be so arrogant he is a season ticket holder? Bit sad but you could work out the percentage of how much you earn against how much you spend on city which I bet is higher than him! Or just call him a rag ****! Joke

is he bollocks a season ticket holder but he was when he was my age apparently, but i dont see any difference in scenarios lol

-- Fri Apr 16, 2010 11:08 pm --

Use the 80 quid a year you're spending on shirts, get yourself a small paper round, and a season ticket won't be a million miles off! If not just buy individual tickets here and there until you can afford the the ST, part-time job maybe, I dunno', but City is damn important for me and if I couldn't afford to go I'd do a range of things to be able to good sir ;) but especially not shag Fergie.

Im trying desperately to get a job mate but it seems almost impossible atm :(

Easy get his bankcard No. and let him buy your ST. then laugh at the smug bastard.

Just had an argument with my rag step dad and according to him im not a supporter because ive never had a season ticket, im 16 so ive never been able to afford a season ticket but aiming to get one for next season. He knows exactly why ive never been able to get a season ticket but yet he tries to use it against me, even though he knows that if i could i would be at every game home and away but yet he only seems to take an interest in united in the big games and towards the tail end of the season when there in the quarter finals of a cup. He constantly says how he doesnt care about united because the wages are too big but then when they're wining or its a big game hes a massive united fan. His argument was that ive never payed money into the club to be classed as a supporter, but ive spent £80 on shirts this year alone and will more than likely do the same next season. He was getting annoyed that i wouldnt let it lie that he was saying im not a real supporter and couldnt understand why it pissed me off. So whats the best or should i say worst argument youve had this week ?
Tell your mother you love her.
Then tell the rag twat to go fuck himself, because in 2 years time you will be working and have a season ticket to watch the finest football team this planet as ever seen

Shag Fergie?

HAHAHAHAAHAHA

Argued for 2 hours after work - just as I was about to walk through the door - with a Newcastle fan about City's methods of attempting top 4!

The only way I could afford a ST when I was your age was because my grandad paid for it.
Too young for the pub too.
Mate it sucks being young and a true blue but, like you said, in a year or two things will be a lot diffeent.

Dunno the situation (financial or how close you are to him) but really he shouldnt be winding you up....he should be f***ing buying you the odd ticket here and there. Especially if he went regularly to the footy himself when he was 16.

Mike, don't let the silly twunt wind you up fella, he is only bugging you because he knows they will get beat tomorrow and he is looking for a get-out.

As for him 'apparently' having a season ticket when he was 16, ask him to show you his old season ticket books (yes they did used to exist!!)
I kept all mine from Maine Road, most people I know have done.

*edit in.....

Good luck to find a job lad, it's not easy right now, but it's probably the worst you'll see it for at least another 20 years!

Cheers mate, not easy is an understatement lol and he might have been a season ticket holder but he had a job with a family friend who owned a newsagents or something like that and he paid for it a took it out his wages. Thats what i mean when i say the scenarios are just a lil different lol
