My lad got mugged in broad daylight in Piccadilly gardens. The police knew the name of the mugger, who was well known to them and it was all captured on CCTV. They didn't bring any charges because the CCTV pictures were "inconclusive"

The **** came up with a bullshit alibi and the police either couldn't be arse or didn't have the resources to check it out properly. They are too interested in targets to be a real police force.
Catch someone not wearing a seatbelt or speeding and its a crime that has been detected and solved in one fell swoop. Great for the statistics.
